Who this is for

More than a million people in Ontario have no OHIP coverage

You might be an international student, a visitor staying with family, a work permit holder, a newcomer waiting for your OHIP card, or someone whose health card has expired. Whatever the reason, if you're in Ontario and don't have OHIP, walk-in clinics and family practices can be hard to access — and emergency rooms are expensive and meant for emergencies.

Doctor Fran is an uninsured-friendly alternative: a telemedicine app where you book a consultation, pay by card, and a physician licensed in Ontario calls you — typically the same day.
