About Dr. Ojukwu

Dr. Ojukwu practises family medicine in North York and provides virtual care to patients across Ontario through Doctor Fran. His focus is on accessible primary care for people who fall through the cracks of the system — international students and newcomers without provincial coverage, work-permit holders, and anyone in Ontario without a family doctor — delivered by phone, the same day, without an in-person visit or a health card.

He built Doctor Fran after observing a gap in healthcare delivery he believed technology could close: he saw patients — especially those without OHIP coverage or a family doctor — waiting days or weeks for appointments they could have had in minutes, and decided to do something about it. Doctor Fran is the result of that conviction.

Dr. Ojukwu practises at Sheppard Victoria Medical Clinic, 2040 Sheppard Ave E, Suite A202, North York, ON M2J 5B3, where walk-in patients are also welcome. Virtual consultations through Doctor Fran are available to patients located anywhere in Ontario.
